Chairman & CEO

Kevin was on the original management team for two IPO companies, Global Telesystems (GTS) and Orion Network Systems. From 2012- 2018 Kevin was a Senior Advisor to the CEO and Board of Broadsoft, a global communication software and service provider that was acquired by Cisco Systems in 2018 for $2 billion.

Kevin’ previous operating and advisory roles included companies such as Global Telesystems, Orion Network Systems, INTELSAT, Telcordia, Amdocs, and SITA. He has also served as a Board member for Viatel, and for a portfolio company of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.   He was former Chairman of OneAccess Networks, and former Chairman of the European Competitive Telecommunications Association (ECTA).   

As Senior Advisor to SITA from 2004-2007, Kevin developed, managed, and executed the plan for establishment of an International Registry of mobile aviation assets. Served as first Managing Director and Board member, recruited the management team and permanent MD.   The International Registry protects the financial interests of lenders in aircraft transactions and was created to reduce financing costs. The Aviation Working Group estimates it will save the global air transport industry $161 billion between 2009 and 2030.  Currently has more than 1 million asset registrations representing more than $500 billion in asset value. 

Kevin is currently Founder and Chairman of  The Good Health Group and serves as an Advisory Board Member for Hellastorm and  Drakestar Partners.  

David Bigio
Director & Advisor 

David is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the A. James Clark School of Engineering, University of Maryland, where he has been on the faculty for 33 years. He received a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and is a co-inventor of the patented technology being commercialized by ROME. 

Dr. David Bigio has also served as advisor to companies on the blending of the business and technical aspects of key processes licensed for manufacture.  He focuses on application design, business development, quality assurance, and bulk manufacturing starting from novel ideas. 

He has collaborated with the U.S. Army Research Lab (ARL) Alternative Energy Group, NASA and USARL projects.  

Earlier in his career, David was a co-creator of the BESTEAMS — Building Engineering Student Team Effectiveness and Management Systems program, to address industry need for engineers trained in team-based product design and development in order to increase productivity, time-to-market, and profitability.  BESTEAMS was a partnership between the engineering programs of the University of Maryland and the U.S. Naval Academy, Howard University, and Morgan State University. The team received a grant of $400,000 from the National Science Foundation to support the program’s objectives over a three-year period.     For the past twelve years David has been involved in the performing Six Sigma Green Belt training program and leading training courses in industry. including medical, service and manufacturing.

Ed Goldman
Director & Secretary

Ed is currently a strategy consultant for Oceantyr, Inc., a company he founded in 2016. Previously, Ed served as CTO of Intel Corporation for both the Intel IT Division (2011-2014), as well as the Enterprise Data Center Division (2014-2016). In these roles, Ed was directly responsible for building and leading the technology direction of the enterprise data center group to include silicon roadmap impact, cross organizational technology implications, and engagement with customers, partners, press and industry. He also led the Intel IT team on the strategic technology aspects of the organization, which included enterprise architecture, IT strategy and IT innovation. 

Ed’s former roles also include the Marriott International, National Association of Securities Dealers, Boeing Computer Support Services, ARC Professional Services Group, and IBM’s Federal Systems Division. In 2014, Ed was recognized as the Computerworld Premier Award Winner for Innovation. 

Ed has served as the Secretary of Board for the Open Data Center Alliance, as well as a Board Member & Chairman for Marriott Employee Federal Credit Union and the Society of Information Management, DC.
